Anne-Julie was born in 1980 in a small town in Eastern France. She graduated from Beaux-Arts in 2001, Ecole de L'Image of Epinal with a degree in Illustration.

After spending time searching her own way, she became a freelance artist and illustrator in 2005. Her work appears in several exhibitions, catalogs, children's books, magazines and websites. She also love to create various things with her hands. In February 2007, she decided to open a shop on Etsy.

The world of Anne-Julie is divided in two parts. She has a whimsical side and a dark side. Her inspiration comes from her childhood, from fairy tales, from music and movies or Nature and dreams, but it also comes from her everyday life.
